Mr Torchey
8/1 beautiful morning, took a long walk, not a breath of wind, and very dry. Actually did not feel cold at all, just crisp and refreshing reminded me of being out west.

ski MRG
Bottomed out at -11, did two circuits at Berkshire Snow Basin. Very cold start but after about a 1,000' going up I was toasty warm. One of those mornings when steam roils off your head when your lathered up. Looking at -20's tonight.
powderfreak
My point and click is calling for -30F at 800ft in Stowe village.... point 'n click is calling for near -40F on Mansfield tonight. weatherMA
Yeah it seems like everyone got a litte warmer then thought today...and colder then thought last night. Up to 21F from a low of -6. Warmed up almost 30F.
dendrite
Yeah it seems like everyone got a litte warmer then thought today...and colder then thought last night. The MET seems to do well with these arctic high situations. It handled the "warmer" temps pretty well up here over the last 2 afternoons while the MAV was too cold. I'd go aggressively low for the mins/maxes tonight and tomorrow though. I wouldn't be shocked to see some 35F ranges tomorrow.
