Yup - it was almost constant for a few minutes, but we got split yet again.  Received a whopping .22" from this one.

The line extends uninterrupted from Philadelphia all the way to Roanoke.  Yet a 2 mile split developed just as it got here, went poof, and immediately reformed and rejoined the line as soon as it moved east 81.  Every fucking single time.  This God damned place.

You're in a serious rain shadow there.  I bet your annual rainfall is 30 or so inches while high elevations to your west are around 50

It was meh up here. Multiple cells of storms all merged together after it passed me to become the big line. Did get rain, .7”, but was lame on the storm front

Earlysville got slammed this go around.... Tree and power line damage is pretty widespread....

Good reason. Embrace the desert! And chase for your sanity. You are in a pretty good spot for the upcoming Nino winter where strong coastal lows are favored that will produce upslope in your area. Just hope it is cold enough lol.
