On ffx county parkway where it overpasses 50 could finally see past the blue ridge way to the distant mountains. Otherwise, mid 60s and low humidity means I get to wear a jacket today to coach! I am jealous of your cool July weather!

Nothing beats 40s, clouds, wind, and spending 5 days tracking a snowstorm where you can see the back edge of the precip or the sleet line moving north before the storm even begins. SolidIcewx
As a utility worker i prefer Spring & Autumn over peak of winter and summer. Minus the storms in each though those are always awesome!

IronTy
Cigar on the porch, what a night. My Tropo precip gauge came today so that should usher in the next phase of drought.

That’s what I use for my Cocorahs station, I like it a lot more than the standard gauge I used before. It’s worth the price upgrade. The little metal rods to deter birds are great- my standard gauge was a porta-potty for every bird passing through.

wxmeddler
Today was a great day to work outside. Still a touch warm for my liking on where I was on the eastern shore. Prefer 72 over 82 with full sunshine this time of year but I'll take what I can get with these dew points today.
