I bet on Friday we see temps sinking thru the 50s during the afternoon with showers and a stiff east breeze

We’re already over 2000 CAPE, -6 lifting index, 7.5 ML lapse rates, and lost 150 CIN in the past three hours. It sucks we have no shear or forcing because our thermodynamic parameters are really good! We even got 1200 DCAPE for severe winds. Maybe a bay breeze boundary can get parcels to the LFC?

The pendulum swings on high temps this spring have been absolute lunacy. There is a range of temps between 60 and 95, is my understanding…or used to be.

Doing crazy heat around here is so easy. It doesn't really matter the pattern once Mid May gets here. I wonder if we get our customary 100-103 temps in mid June for a few days. It kills off the early tomato flowers. This heatwave is as bad as the one we had in March lol. Dreaming of 0 visibility in heavy snow on the Tug for Christmas.
