I’ve never seen a forecast for a (midnight) high in the 70s with frozen precip later that same day (in this region). Not in my 24 years of tracking weather

There was an event in March '95.  It was 70s early in the day, and we ended up with 2-3 inches of snow that evening.  Only time I've ever mowed the lawn in shorts and a tshirt and shoveled snow on the same day.

Edit:  Looks like it was March 8, 1995.  Highs were in the mid-60s, not 70s.  IAD had 1.8", DC .4", and BWI .2"

March 9-16th of '95.  On 9th I had a 68 high, then a 22 low with 3 inches of snow. Next day an 11 degree low. Rapid turn around and a 77 degree high on the 16th. Crazy.
