I said the model has various impulses moving through every other day on average? Which was objectively true

If the pattern goes warm, I'd just prefer it stays that way. Very frustrating to lose the pack over a 2 day stretch to then go right back into winter. My opinion is based only on snowmobile season where I'd rather crank through 3 more wks of winter then you can torch it.
The 4 Seasons
Season to date snowfall ending March 2nd. Reports are from here, cocorahs, COOP, climate sites. This was a tough one with a lot of missing days in cocorahs and reports that didn't line up or make sense. Did the best i could with the information i had. SNE/Tri-State/CT only maps are also up and a season progression animation. Winter 25-26 Seasonal Snowfall This is the 4th update of the season and probably the second to last update with a final map coming in April sometime when the threat of additional snow drops to near zero. March 2nd Update Snowfall Progression 1

ma blizzard
nice map and appreciate all the effort you put into this! Just my 2 cents but I don't buy those 52"/53" totals in in south ORH county at all .. seems much too low

Quincy cocorahs, the same one you said who slanted 28" near me. It's just S/SE of BOS and was close to the BOS seasonal total so thats why i put it in. The 80.6 is Blue Hill which makes sense why its high but most of the other reports around there north and west of you are ~60 ish
Sey-Mour Snow
6 minutes ago, The 4 Seasons said: That CT river valley in MA mirrors their typical seasonal snowfall lol That average snowfall map seems suspect.. NE CT hills are well within the 25-50" while south of Boston on the coast is well within the 50-75" range.. that 25-50 " in western and NE CT has to be pushed south a good amount especially with this being 91-2020 which was an extremely snow period.. Problem is we have a lack of good coops in that region…the little we do have are grossly under measured so it can produce spurious zones like that when we graph averages.
