NeonPeon
I just skied right down Broadway and to Washington square in Newport. Unreal scenes of the deepest winter My side entrance looks like a ski chalet.

sophware
1 hour ago, HIPPYVALLEY said: How powdery is the snow there? That’s obviously gonna be the big difference for some areas. In my area, about 10 minutes south of Providence, it's almost all powder. I have major health problems and was able to shovel a path to my car. Started out super wet last night but somehow ended up light. It's not just "not heavy," it's light. Can't make a snowball. Sorry to hear the people have cement-like snow.

With measurements ranging from 10.5” to 13.5”, I’m calling it 12”. With the overall pack near 2’, I can’t complain too much. You just have to ignore what others got east of you because getting a foot? that’s a respectable storm. Double digit storms have been few and far between past bunch of years.

I'm on the other side of the bay from you and it's light powder. Vinny from Cranston has a similar observation. This is how people get in arguments years later about what the storm was like, lol. FRWEATHA
Reports of 33 in Dartmouth, and 31 inches in both Somerset and Berkeley. And it’s still coming down.
andyhb
Radar is filling back up over RI/E MA with the approach of the deformation axis on the backside. Probably going to make a run at 40" in spots. 3

Sometimes that's denser because it melts a little from the heat leaking out and making it settle. I'm actually hopeful it's more powdery so I can try and cut through it with my very undersized snow thrower if I chop it down appropriately. Turning is good if its not in full track mode. In full track mode you need to man handle it unless on even ground. Its a beast though, chewed through this in 1st gear except for the deeper drifts I had to feather it like you mentioned

WxFreak11
36.2 inches in Warwick, RI according to NBC 10. I lived in Alaska for 10 years and never had 3’ of snow in one storm. This was insane!. 6
OceanStWx
One of the weirdest storms I’ve ever worked up here. Huge bust on snow totals - I have nothing on my snow board and snow depth went down a half inch today. I would guess I have around 2”. BUT PWM did verify a blizzard warning. 2

No idea what we got in Bath. It was snowing for several hours....with the wind, it was blowing off the back yard (we back up to the river so no snow blows onto the yard). All the snow was deposited on my front porch which had about 8" on it. Decided to take a drive--the roads were really pretty bad. We definitely got more than I expected and more than what I thought had actually come down.

VivaManchVegas
I did not hit double digits here. My guess is somewhere between 5 and 8 inches and it was not that heavy. This one blew harder than recent storms, but it seems the GFS was onto the central SNH cut back yesterday afternoon. Just east of me like Nahua seems to be getting buried. Any of you Nashua guys confirm?
