I think I said 4-5° given how low the core of the cold was coming in. That would flirt with daily records on some days, but not on 2/8 because of 1963’s sub zero.

Feb 2023

The one real cold shot we had that entire winter. The difference that time it was all brown. Completely snowless. January didn't even make it below the 20s the entire month. Horrific winter.

Brutal cold right down to the shoreline. Not often you see BDR HVN and GON approach 0.

Side note: man 15-16 was absolutely abysmal for you 33.4? I got more snow than you with close to 40. That probably never happened before and wont happen again. 

Actually was a pretty decent winter here. Solid 3 week stretch and two double digit storms, one was a blizzard.

Yeah that was a rough one. One of these days I need to go through my data posted on here and update the last 2 seasons. I lost motivation doing it daily.

That winter almost ended me.

Think we were 55” or so for snowfall and the picnic tables only had 153”.  Lowest on record.

It’s currently around 280” for moving 20-year average…forget the exact number.

For example, this season we are at 231” to date up there.

Aside from the wind its nothing special. Trade off for grabbing the snow yesterday, we sent the cold core west of us

down to -5.7° here, but that wind is making it brutal... otherwise it's not that bad, to me anyway, my wife hates it, I've worked in shit like this and honestly prefer it over 95° with 70+ dews, but that's just me.

Again not the historian that others are but as of yesterday BDL and BDR are sitting at 14th coldest winter on record. Coldest at BDL since 1996. Coldest at BDR since 2014. Won't last, but impressive through the first 2/3 of met winter. 

Edit: 18th at BOS, coldest since 2004.
