Newport is the greatest snowhole in new England other than block island. I remember a late February 1990 snowstorm. No mixing. Narragansett 7 miles away had 10 inches, Newport inexplicably had 3!

Eyeballing a couple of inches on the ground here in Providence.  There was only a coating left from this morning before the snow picked up at around sunset...

I've finally given up, I just go to the Adirondacks a couple times a winter now.

Snow growth is still pretty crappy here but it’s like that 1/2 mile fog stuff. It’s dense but piling up. Some darker bands trying to get going…when we’ve occasionally had a little pulse of those, we’ve gotten better growth

It's slippery as hell, my trucks in a ditch in my driveway and I fell twice, stuff is nasty,
