On the flip side of that, We got a foot plus with no WSWarning…lol. Complete debacle on both ends of the spectrum with that one.

you were def under a WSW for that storm. The whole state was. Watches were converted to warnings, no surprises. It looked iffy right up to go time but everything verified.

they got downgraded north of the CT boarder and expanded into NYC/NJ/LI area.

Thanks. I could have sworn they were dropped, and then hoisted almost after the fact…but maybe I’m thinking of another storm.

We all need to move near the lakes. What a season for them.

These maps seem to undercount, at least the upstate cities. For Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton, and Albany, the listed totals are 32, 39, 67, 27, and 21. The official totals for those sites (as of 1/2) are 34, 44, 80, 34, and 26. Are the New England numbers similarly low?

I’d say. I can at least speak for my location in South Central CT, it’s a bit low

That's pretty bullish. As cautiously optimistic as I am I think we finish 75-85% of normal. And that's still less than I thought in December.

It’s been a good start regardless of amounts and every warm look in the extended gets muted as we close in. I think the tenure of the season has been established which bodes well with our snowiest climo upcoming.

We will hold you to it. How about Boston? Sitting at 4 inches. Can we make a run at an all-time ratter. Pretty hard to beat 9.8 In 2023.
