Seems to be all sleet here now in western Brooklyn. Haven’t heard sleet like this a long time.

Many of those areas reporting sleet flipped back to snow already, including out near Port Jervis. All snow here still.

Really not all that impressed with so far here central Suffolk. The fist band was fun now it’s eh. Doubt we see over 6-7” which was a possibility

Hoping for a few inches. Im not sure anymore. It was a red flag once the euro and gfs went northward with the 850 line.

I still have hope but its fading. O well I have lost sleep this week. Happens.

3.5 inches in yorktown, these dark green/light yellow are 1 inch/hour on the nose, the yellow blobs are 2 inch/hour.

this is the most salt I have seen laid down on the roads in a long time- roads just wet here

Don't give up yet. Should still see a few inches of mixed precip.

Either crews got too excited, or the budget this year was massive (allocating that much money to winter weather needs to be justified one way or another)
