2020 melted Christmas Eve/Day straight up through Maine with a 50s/60s pouring rain thunder stem winder.

2013 Not sure

2013 had a huge cutter type system that CAD’d in NNE and caused a decent ice storm there. Torched into the 50s in SNE though the CAD did back door into SNE eventually. N ORH county over to Ray’s hood kept enough pack though for a white Xmas.

Dec 2013 is an underrated really good month that just got really spoiled by the grinch storm.

I agree. Memory is a little fuzzy but I believe we had several SWFE type storms. I remember a couple instances of solid advisory that month. It was fairly cold too.

The pack was definitely wiped here because we played football outside on Christmas Day and it was sunny and bare

Hard to beat the recent run the Cape has seen. Has had either snow falling, or snow on the ground Christmas Eve / Christmas for 3 of the last 4 years.

The 2022 ocean effect band (west to east instead of the normal north to south!) was one to remember.

This afternoon in Barnstable.
