Southern end precip getting cut back as models home in on clipper transfer and coastal pop. Trend has been drier for DC south along 95 but if I get a dusting to 1” I’ll take it and quietly wish it was more

I think we're semi-cooked on this one.  It just frankly doesn't snow for very long on any of the models and it isn't like this is a juiced up event.  We'll try again in January.

48hr HRRR owes me an inch for today still. Always prefer to have every piece of guidance snow on me but I'm okay losing this one.

I'll hug the 12k NAM, which promised @Bob Chill 4" of snow today at 12z yesterday. I'm sure that's panned out well.

The northern snow drought is not just Baltimore N/W as we often discuss (better climo=more disappointment probs) but it has also been bleak Balt NE for 95 corridor northern peeps. I prefer big snows that hit the biggest area possible but if this modest tiny miracle happens here, we are due.

12k NAM looks pretty darn similar through 42. Maybe a juuust hair south. Don't have the nice maps yet.

Yeah, the drier sucks. Storm moves out faster - looks more like other models TBH. NAM being soooo wet was an aberration. This is fine with me but I'd prefer the 06z

If I was to make a snow map I think I'd make it look like the 3k NAM. Looks about right.
