I don’t think Mcavoy should be coming back this soon, but I think he is trying to get a spot on the Olympic team. But he lost 20 pounds and I don’t think is still able to eat solid food. I can’t see him being able to play the 23:46 he’s averaging a game.

Hockey players are a different breed. Ease him back in.

Maybe to start? Otherwise it’s down the drain eventually

naw I think mostly snow it will be close though.  still a good base here maybe some rain in it would add more meat to it and give it even more staying power

Challenge is the schedule has been absolutely insane with the league having to adjust for the two week break. Maybe play him every other game or something. But with the way the D has been crushed with injuries I don’t think they can afford to have him just play 10-15 minutes a game

When you radiate to 20° that’s one thing, but when you’re radiating below zero, it’s man cold with or without wind.

It’s the trade off to like an unnecessary cool 42F night in the summer, while south of the Pike is enjoying 60 dews.

Stations here are running in the -9 to -10°F plus so far this month, Not fake.

Radiational cooling or not, it has been a bit since we’ve seen these type of departures sustained over a couple weeks. At any time of year.  The low level air masses have been legit.

Today was brutal cold at the mountain, sub zero with strong wind.

BDL -8.6°

SLK -13.0°

BDL is above monthly snow but below seasonal average. SLK doesn’t measure snow but…we deep winter so far up there…

It was steady for a while down here, hanging around 19⁰, skies cleared, now its off to the races... 13.3⁰ currently

BDL should be about -10 for the month after tomorrow.  In this area I believe the earliest safe pond ice in my 27 years here.  Only drawback is most were already frozen by the time the snow fell on 12/2 lol.  Incredible start to winter.

perfect winter night, 11° moon rising with Jupiter off to the upper right, saw these guys on the local pond today, I like the boat in the back of his truck, I guess he’s ready for anything!
