Been raining down here since 4pm. Stiff east winds and 48-49 degrees. Would be a nice snowstorm down here and hearbreak up there if it was 2 months later. Maybe winter is showing it's hand early

The scent of wall to wall winter vibes is increasing with each passing week.  I guess the ultimate question is whether this pattern is becoming the base state for the next few months or just part of a turbulent ebb and flow.  All I know is that the Desert Southwest is experiencing incredible weather right now.

Apparently I was asleep at the wheel - I was not expecting the winds to be so intense today.  Pretty raw out there.

First day of the season the sweatshirt didn't come off the entire day outside while working. The wind was ripping at times here in the lowlands. This has been a beautiful stretch of fall weather.
