frd
So where is the Sun? It is almost as difficult to predict Sunshine nowadays, as it is to predict snowfall in winter. My forecast grid was for mostly sunny skies. Now I see clouds have moved in already after 1 hour of sunshine at sunrise.

It's easy when it's dry, but they told me it's a huge mess when it rains. Uh, I'm thinking I'm in trouble? Time to look for some mudder boots. QPF forecast looks juicy! In my experience watching a friend’s chickens, they are never easy. Tiny Velociraptors running around. Mr. J and I are trial running the new EV out to Rehoboth Beach for a small vacation this week. The weather looks to be a bit better than over here cloud wise. Plan on doing a lot of exploring.

Looks like a low level wedge of fog south and east of I-95.
87storms
It looks like clouds and rain for the next 6 months setting in early this year lol. It started in late June here. I'm going to enjoy today before my trails turn to mud and slimy leaves again. Hopefully everything stays NW of my area. lol, I enjoy the seasons, but the older I get the less enthused I am about stratus clouds.
87storms
Looks like a low level wedge of fog south and east of I-95. Looks like it’s cloudier west of 95 on satellite. I’m assuming it thins out as milder air moves in.

JakkelWx
87/81. Yesterday featured very intense rainfall and loud thunder in the early-mid afternoon hours, then after sunset, great lightning show. Today looks to repeat that here in S FL. A vacation marked by extreme humidity and heat indexes over 100. typically lasts from mid-late may thru early october, such is life in the only tropical rainforest climate zone in the mainland USA. high risk
The simulated radar products from the CAMs for the next 2 days look more like what I'd expect to see in July instead of late September.

Course I am a touch cooler than the coastal plain area. Went 'tree peeping' today thru my county into Greenbrier county in WV, about 50% color above 2500 foot, 25-33% down lower. Maples, poplars, dogwoods, cherry and locusts changing, oaks mostly still green. Saturday for overseeding here. Hopefully the rain does come as expected starting tomorrow. Out at the cabin at just over 3k ft elevation i'd say half the leaves have already fallen. Color was shite though, I think with the drought they just crisped up and fell off. Down in Calvert we haven't really had any color change yet. It's been wet down here so hopefully the color will be better.

wxdude64
Currently 78.4/64.7 at 2:50 pm with partly cloudy skies. Warm, almost hot. I have a bit of grass already up from Friday's planting! If it doesn't shower before dark I may water to help it along.
