Quite the chunk of chert.  Some of that stuff has been found in ancient indigenous settlements west of the Great Lakes, as it was great for fire starting.

They are less allergenic than other pines.

Quite the chunk of chert.  Some of that stuff has been found in ancient indigenous settlements west of the Great Lakes, as it was great for fire starting.

Yes, Capatain made comment about the Natives using it for arrowheads, axes, etc

Went over to the Fryeburg Fair today. Went over through the Kanc and then went home up 113 through Evans Notch to Rt. 2. The best color was through Groton, VT and then on the western slopes of the Whites to Twin Mountain. I was surprised how little change there was in Evans Notch.

I’m in coastal mass (near scituate) so I got a brief little burst late last night from that storm passing by to our south. Nothing like the previous event but def caught me off guard for a bit! Enjoy all the early colors everyone else to the north.

not after today ...?    I suspect they can move the means dial a lousy .1 when they're like 82/63 and something like +15 hahaha
