Typhoon Tip
it's the NAM so ... it's skimpier on QPF areal coverage and amounts than other guidance. there's an old saying that dry begets dry ... heh, NAM and a saying, vs all other models

As i get older, i appreciate the 60° dew days more and more. Nothing worse than cracked dry hands when the temps and dews start dropping in autumn. Won’t be here full time but I have to admit—I love it up here. It’s just out in the middle of nowhere. The Adirondacks and high peaks area is awesome. Pure wilderness. What elevation are you at? Gotta be decent when like the lowest elevations are like 1,300ft.
Damage In Tolland
Some of the best color I’ve seen around here in at least 5 years or so. That wet summer and then this last stretch really setting things up nicely . And very early too. Trees are 10 days ahead at least

Saw a few big giant maples (not swamp maples) getting lots of red and orange on them when driving around yesterday.

Gotta be decent when like the lowest elevations are like 1,300ft. I climbed Mount Marcy about twenty years ago with my Dad and two brothers. Also, you can't beat the view of the Adirondacks from Burlington. I have a good friend from Saranac Lake (always one of the coldest spots, that station--SLK?). Another from Lake Placid. Ex-girlfriend's family had a cool little place further West, Adirondacks, accessible only by boat. Sorry, this made me reminisce for a minute...

I still do some landscaping in Brattleboro, part-time. Leaf season coming up with the big ol' beast of a leaf sucker. K-ching! We reuse it as mulch and then compost the next two years.

Still raining here at the office in Waterbury and it looks like we have a little more to go.
