Pretty crazy in extreme NE Maryland and Northern DE.

Pouring here, with booms of thunder, lost power twice already, luckily it came back on rather quickly.

Saw my gauge got about 0.2”.  Was ok with that until I looked at the radar estimates of over 4” just a few miles away.  Alas.

Hit 101 on the car thermometer today near SLC.  Dusty as hell.  Think I prefer the humidity in DC.

A giant 0.05 this morning in the gauge, guess that is better than a goose egg. Muggy, muggy past 24 hours! 67.2/66.4 at 7:45 am this morning with some patchy fog, 66.1 low.

The 00z CAMs were quite bullish on afternoon convection, especially over central Maryland, but the 06z NAM Nest and recent HRRR runs have backed way off.

Storms are developing East of Baltimore and West of the Aberdeen Proving Ground. 

This did work out for some areas of the upper Eastern Shore last evening. Chesapeake City with over 2 inches, my location with 1.50 inches.

Wow you usually fair better than I do down here. 

That being said my FIL is coming up next week. He is the one who helped me dig up a small street side patch of dead grass and roll sod down back in April when they were here. He will arrive seeing that it has yet again a patch of dead grass.

picked up maybe .2" yesterday, keeping things greenish. my lawn has never been this green in august.

I have the 'usual' spots (under the deep tree canopy, lack of sun and trees sucking up all the water and nutrients) that have browned out in last week or so, otherwise an amazing year for grass here!

My Point and Click says 60% of thunderstorm this afternoon in here 21057... HRRR says not so fast and everyone basically gets nothing.

If it's not being watered consistently, it's dead around here

Absolute whiff for the most part in Fallston last night. Almost hilarious how close it was to raining but refused to.

about 1.5" last night from an overhead cell developing. very close lightning and shook me out of the bed.

Yeah I was at Hydes Field in Baldwin...you could see the rain and lightning... but nothing at the field except for a canceled soccer practice.
