Absoutly glorious out watering the plants this morning. 76/61. The younger Ms. J was dropped off yesterday for a camp helper for pony camp. She hit the jackpot with this nicer weather. May even put the Catio out for the furballs.

Got down to 55 this morning. I saw a few GaCo obs in the 40s; was hoping to see that, but regardless, spectacular day today.

My place bottomed out at 49/46.  Heat was on in the Jeep when I rolled out at 7A...

Yesterday was probably the nicest day of the summer, which isn't saying much given the endless days of clouds / drizzzle / rain most other times.

i wonder what Canaan got down to.  Upper 60s here in upper NW DC (which feels like fall LOL) - DCA bottomed out at 70F.

Canaan got down to 44.8, the Glades was a touch colder at 44.7. A local GaCo station in Bittinger got down to 49.1. Just spectacular, especially after the humidity of the past ~30 days (even out here, DPs were not uncommon to be 72-74 which is rare day after day).

the low was 64 with dew points in the 50s overnight. currently 77/60.

Smelled very smokey here this morning near 7:30 A.M. I have not checked,  but with the winds NW makes me wonder.    

For a couple hours it was a very strong smell.

If this is correct, this is nuts for July 22 nd. Peak surf zone temps are normally mid to late August.   

Today's North Wildwood sea temperature is 

81.0°F

 (Which is 7.2°F warmer than normal for this time of year)

Currently 85/69 with clear skies and a light breeze. I’ll admit, this isn’t too bad. We all have frog-in-a-boiling-pot-syndrome after the last few weeks- any dewpoint under 9,000 feels nice now lol

yeah - ocean temps along the Jersey shore in the 80s in July is nuts.
