Doesn't look like the sun will break out until even later than yesterday. 71/69 While the dews are appreciated, some more heat would be nice. I was traveling back and forth from New Haven to Pt Judith RI this week for work. East of GON has been socked in clouds/mist for the last few days while it's been like full sun HVN West. 4

An extension of the worst climate in the lower 48 of coastal ME in Spring and summer. Just a little better being farther SW. Typically cloudy and cool even in a humid regime.
Torch Tiger
18z gfs D5-12 looks really good. I know NE esp. ENE is death knell for thunderstorm activity, but that overall UL/ML look is really good right to the coast with fast-moving shortwaves ripping along the southern end of westerlies.

kdxken
9 hours ago, TheClimateChanger said: Wow! Can't wait to see what this looks like at the end of the week. One thing I find odd the rankings in some of the biggest cities aren't as impressive: Boston (23), New York - Central Park (15), DC (11). The hottest anomalies seem to be in places where nobody lives, like Elkins and Clarksburg, W. Va. (both 1st place). The UHI theory would predict the opposite? Not sure what is going on there. It seems some of these radiational cooling hotspots are just not radiating like they used. This very dense, vaporous atmosphere is wreaking havoc on overnight cooling. Much denser and vaporous than when I was a child. Wait, what? 23rd hottest? I have it from some pretty unreliable sources that this is the hottest summer ever. Better check that data...
