Hopefully 2 humidity free or light days coming Fri and Sat. But then sweaty breath comes roaring back.

Yeah, it looks like a brief dip in the dewpoints Fri-Sat snd again on Mon. So this could cause a break in the 70° minimum streak since early July especially outside NYC. But it will be interesting to see if the more urban sites keep the streak going.

On latest radar I see it's breaking up a little bit. I don't think it's gonna be too bad.

my wife got stuck at the costco in north plainfield the other night as did my best friend; didn't get home til midnight; costco acted as a shelter and provided rotisserie chickens, water and cookies for all the stranded folks. they should be commended.

I got a dwarf tomato plant, as I no longer have a back yard, just a balcony. Not too many tomatoes/flowers on the plant. Also there were some that looked ripe on the outside, a nice deep red, but when I sliced them open, they were still green on the inside. Very frustrating.

they are still fine to eat.

It is very very difficult for nyc to get <70 in mid summer now. I think we scratch 70 but struggle to get below it. First <70 night will come some time deep into august or even early sept.

More storms heading towards the same area once again. Decent storms by Manila pan as well.  Just missing east of here.

Thankfully that flash flood warned cell weakened and ended up not being a big deal for my area. Just a small downpour and I got only 0.20" here. We'll have to see if the activity in PA causes trouble here later tonight.

You get anything down the road? We had a 5 min drizzle earlier and everything else looks north or south for the night
