Almost as bad as the sickos wanting 48° and drizzle in May. Give me 83/65 though 2

dendrite
Summer Spring Fall Winter Fall temps and humidity are generally better, but I will elevate spring for the sun angle and the fact that we’re heading toward warmer times versus 5 months of darkness.
ineedsnow
ELEVATED RISK FOR FIRE SPREAD TUESDAY... The combination of low relative humidity values between 25 and 45 percent and wind gusts up to 30 mph will create an elevated risk for fire spread. Exercise caution handling any potential ignition sources, including machinery, cigarettes, and matches. Any fires that ignite will have the potential to spread quickly.

WinterSnow
74 degrees and bright, bright sunshine. Very light breeze, if any. This is the kind of weather that normal people like, but it was a bit much for me, especially on my walk back from the store. Being sweaty with the hot sun beating down on me is not my idea of a good time.

WinterSnow
10 minutes ago, CoastalWx said: Why did you move to sub 42N? Months of dews Enroute. A variety of reasons, really. (I've dreamed of living in Maine since I was real little, but in compromise with my family who I hope will come up here eventually, I settled with southern New England, but it's also about all of the options for medical care and the like I have down here. I'm not made to live in the middle of nowhere lol) I'm going to have to deal with it. I relocated to CT last summer, so I've experienced mid-June onward in the state. Once I'm acclimated it gets a little better. I was blown away by how much cooler summer was aside from some nasty days here and there. And that summer was above average??? WOW. I love where I live now. Just give me some time to acclimate to the warming weather. lol 16 minutes ago, H2Otown_WX said: Too many brews at Sparetime? Lol, no. I don't drink. I'm just naturally like this. Sorry to say. Does getting drunk make you more susceptible to heat? Sure am glad I never got in the habit! 1

It's different if you live in a small town a distance away from those areas but in terms of quality, it's quite high. When my parents were going through their terminal illnesses in south Georgia and northern Florida, I would have given anything to have them back up here. 1

Even in Maine where I'm going is pretty good too and I'll be near the ocean for those ocean breeze days though it does get hot at times. Portland is close by, and New Hampshire is too.
