Vein… lol

i learned to ski on pleasant mountain back in the late 70s when there was a t-bar accross the street. I’m excited for the future now that there looks to be capital backing for much needed upgrades.

Yes, they have big plans. Will take some time to sort out. It’s such a great little hill, I wouldn’t care if they didn’t change a thing. With that said, change is inevitable and I’ll embrace it.

Just when I think it's done a other one regenerates.  Amazing.

It's still spitting precip over here.  We have had a long interesting period of freezing drizzle mixed with mangled flakes and pellets.  Must be residual moisture and some weak lift residing outside and below the DGZ, resulting in a light spotty mix.  If it was the fluff of the other day, we'd probably be seeing some decent accumulation this evening, ha.

Really only a tenth or two here in the last 3 hours of spitting precip... but won't fully shut off either.

Just added it up, within an inch of 80" for the season.  J.Spin appears to have cruised past 100".  Averages for a season are like 115" and 140" respectfully?  It would take a healthy run to get to average, but even a slightly below average total this winter would be a win given the temperature departures.

Snowfall totals from yesterdays storm in CT and the tri-state area as well as selected reports from CT. Thanks to everyone who submitted a report. The fx was about as good as you could hope for. A general 4-8 across much of the region and CT. Not perfect, though as some areas along the SE coast fell below the range. The gradient and ranges for the tri-state are were pretty close but ended up being a few miles north in central NJ.

Final Grade: A-

Took some pictures across the town today

...Me and my 4" surrounded by a 5.5", 7", and a bunch of 6.5" totals.  I am truly in the WORST place for snow in NE, CT.  Only been living there for a little over a year and I miss Brooklyn snow down the road.  ...and even there it wasn't to great.

My 4" aligns with the 4" from the coast, miles south of me.  f.ucking awesome.

Did they get shadowed or something?

Yeah, the Bretton Woods is sort of like a plateau that is surrounded by mountains like a "U" laying on its side. And the plateau is highest right at the point where 302 meets up with Crawford Notch on the Bretton Woods side, but slopes quite dramatically down hill towards the CT River Valley over a short distance

Sort of nickel and diming but 40% of seasonal snowfall looks to have come in just two events.  12/16-17 and 2/23.  Some decent events mixed in.
