canderson
Down at Wolf Trap for a show. It’s far more muggy here today than up in Harrisburg. Sweat galore.

Yea I thought something might have been off but my Tempest and NWS thermometer for my CWOP station read 94 and 93.7 respectively so it's gotta be legit. leesburg 04
Goodness another day where the models advertised some decent rain potential and another day looking at a big fat zero. I'm starting to take it personally

leesburg 04
Clearly obvious that anything and everything will develop well east of where the models had it....interesting how with the event the other day and these they all missed the big dome over our area
high risk
This weekend air mass is going to be incredible. Multiple models show us barely hitting the low 70s Saturday, with a stiff breeze blowing. May not be a whole lot warmer than that on Sunday.

I got an A meet for swim Saturday morning and another long course meet for swim Sunday so I don’t really know how to feel about this super nice weekend coming up. That said it will also be awesome for biking and mowing lawns.

wxtrix
the front of the house is bathed in sunlight, and the back of the house in under a very dark cloud with lots of thunder and lightning. 87/77/97.
yoda
(from afternoon LWX AFD for the weekend) Canadian high pressure will move into the region Saturday with below normal temperatures and dry conditions. Saturday night is likely the chilliest night in some time for areas west of US-15, with lows in the 40s to near 50. Would not be surprised with patchy frost in the valleys of Garrett County, Maryland Saturday night.

wxtrix
90 minutes of thunder and lightning, 1.07” of rain and still falling, 75/72/76. the storm has blown up to my east and and the thunder is shaking the house. the sky is very bright and the lightning is still lighting up the inside of the house—this would have been a spectacular nighttime storm. CAPE is much lower east of the Potomac, and storms are not surviving as they approach the river. They're turning to ride the instability gradient a bit.

I’ve had the random instance like this on occasion but this is the most consistent lightning I’ve seen removed from a storm like this.
