It just won’t melt. No sun is not helping

Yeah today is awful, showers and 39. Can’t wait for this to melt and get the 60s and 70s back.

Just based on the cams seems to be melting fast.

1500ft over this way is almost gone, granted it was only 4” but sun starting to poke through. Above 2kft still caked.  No cold air advection anywhere so once precip stops it wants to get mild fast. Ahh spring time.

Can tell its was dry as the rivers still don’t look like 1.64” water just fell in town. Interesting that 1.5-2.0” QPF did not bring much response in water flow.

Ground soaked it up. Based on reports from the locals here, seems like mud season barely even started and already into dust season now.

Snowy headwaters sending that precip downriver today/tomorrow?

43 and clouds are not going to cut it for melting this stuff off today. Three days of snow cover in mid April is pretty strange after being shut out other than a couple dustings from squalls since late February. Two years in a row of this too.

74.5” on the season now but it still felt below average.

Next weekend looks interesting

Euro gets interesting a bit. Could use a better airmass though. However :stein: no more.

Second consecutive solidly BN snowfall season here. 29” for 20-21. Up from 19.5” over 19-20’s total.

Damn...,,.not too far away I have 55.8.   Last season I had 23.9.

I was around a foot AN.  Bust losing Jan and March sucked

Exactly.   For me the numbers are a bit above normal but losing 2 months definitely soured the season although I spent 2 snowy weeks in Chicago during January.

The epic melt out before Christmas also did not help.

I’m not that far west of you and I’m a foot below normal.

Rainy possibly.  Tiny chance of another frozen event but I doubt.

I’m not sure. I don’t see anything showing snow threat in SNE. The low looks to ride over NNE. Maybe more of a severe threat for us?

It was on Christmas itself which was even suckier.

But, in exchange, we got pretty much zero big torches or cutters after that... just not much snow other than that period in Feb (which was great).
