When is our next opportunity for a dopamine drip ...nam at 0z?

I got a feeling it's gonna ..be a tickle or more NW...as long as i get a nice little 1-2" refresher on the front end, i will be pleased

It would make sense to me if it was more NW. In a perfect or at least expected world, all the outlying loner models drift closer to one another before the system arrives

I’m still convinced this front end thump is for real and it’ll be mostly snow for a lot of the forum.  Models seem to be struggling a bit on the low level temps a bit and determining where that changeover occurs.  The levels above there look plenty cold.   1-2C in the 925mb level are making all the difference in models right now.

1-2 degrees warmer at H925 across e MA..depending where you are.

I'd have some mixing here, but should be mainly snow.

precip is also long gone by that time , it wraps up 6 or so hours earlier, here are the temps when heavy stuff is winding down.. surface is a bit warm yes, 925s and up plenty cold during steady precip, temps just off the deck don't warm until things shut off.  I will be watching surface temp trends though.

Its not just me right? Wish WSI had 18Z and someone would post it

No it’s not just you, the bulk looks to fall as a front end thump of snow.  A very heavy thump.  It warms up down there with the dry slot even on the tucked solutions... the total net gain is significant either way.

Precip is long gone for most when it might go above 0C.
