That’s getting legit. First 60 knot gust I’ve seen. There’s a thin band of convective showers and it seems the little dry slot right behind it is where it is ripping.

NY outages really started to spike in past 10 minutes. Still rising in NJ & PA (I am sure the excessive rainfall in PA hasn't helped them there).

Getting there...but the lack of hurricane force gusts above NC is telling.
