AM clouds have really ruined the instability. I'm not seeing that. The HRRR is keying in on the initial convection being focused on a very weak surface boundary that is around the MD/PA border. Beyond that, there is little forcing so this is going to be a pulsing, cold-pool driven day. The coverage may not be very good, but like last night in Manassas, whoever gets it will be quite wet.
