Getting heavy rain now; the radar presentation is wild with 2/3 of the state missing this precipitation currently. 

I was expecting this to move east and run the coast line; always neat to learn something new.

It's coming...gusts 50KT e NC, and many 40s in eastern VA now. 

 

Best way I can demo... and will try to improve. Power outages 715A.  All sorts of TOR warnings from PHL and near BWI down into eastern VA.

Storm has quite a robust tail to it. If it stays together, that will hit NYC and Long Island later.

Since around 12z 56 KT ECG, ORF 53kt,  and the nw wind at RIC 44kt...  that's the wrap around back side tail get BWI, nW NJ se NYS and just forming now, i think.

That area is what seems to bring the really strong winds in and then for a few hours behind that. Right now outside it’s very still-barely any breeze.

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 845 AM EDT.

* At 819 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Dublin, or 22 miles north of Philadelphia, moving
  north at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bedminster, Chalfont, Tinicum, Dublin, Ferndale, Riegelsville,
