I'm guessing you're not bothering to measure a lot of the tiny events.

I have 27.1 on the season, but 12.3 inches in 12 separate events.  I have the remaining 14.8 from two events, November 15 and January 19.

I did add those in. I've gotten skunked on everything but November. A couple of dustings, like yesterday, in December, next to nothing in January and a couple of inches that mixed with sleet super early on in the February storms.

Good afternoon all,  Posted a map of what occurred through 7AM, most of it after midnight. This does not include the remaining snow after 7AM. From NOHRSC.  Thanks for your value added information.  The legend has the amounts. Somewhat tough to discern but an idea.  For me, at least through the 06z/28 cycle,  I did not anticipate 2-3" nw NJ (bullseye) this morning. Kudos OKX on the mid shift of the 28th picking up on 1-2" NYC.

Didn't expect this much, 2.3" here.  What did you get @rgwp96?

I measured 2 and went back to bed and it was still snowing. After shoveling and everything I remeasured 2 but was hrs after it stopped. I prob had the same as you. I’m at an even 20 for the year

South v north shore big difference today. All melted south shore still full snow cover up here

there was a lack of moisture on the south shore, it never snowed hard or even moderate and never stuck to anything but car tops and grass even while it was snowing
