Melts today by WW, Pickles , Bob, Runway partially

Lost a bunch today

How can one melt if they were never frozen?  I'm sitting here mocking the "all snow, all the time" crowd when the pattern still is not great.  Serviceable, if timing works out, but not one that wreaks of confidence in a wintry outlook.

Nah WW says rains and Peter Pan fantasies in tights and green pointy hats

Rains are definitely on the table. But it is a typical SWFE look too...good Arctic high out on front. But the OP euro amped it up so much that it didn't matter. The whole things slowed down and amped so the high is sliding out by the time is comes in and it's way west. A more progressive less amplified solution would be a lot snowier. EPS seems to have both options on the table. It tries to cut, reforms a secondary that tracks over eastern areas. We've seen that movie before too.

I have faith the bitter cold will arrive , the pattern supports that

Pretty balmy feeling in Nashua currently

the pack was impressive but i am completely fine with 100% melting and walking on grass for next few days . Prob won’t melt out completely but we’ll see

nam had 45 degree plus dews from 6z to 21z
