We lucked out with the timing of the biggest swells from Florence arriving later in the week. Had those swells arrived during a moderate coastal flood event there could have been serious erosion issues. Also had some tree damage here. A strong gust took down a large tree limb. Plenty of leaves and sycamore bark in the streets.

Numerous locations around the area could set or tie record low maximum temperatures. However, the guidance suggests that readings could begin rising toward midnight, so it could be a close call. SACRUS
Clouds and storms in the way of any 90s today but warmer air returning. Still am not ruling out sneaky heat between w-f with enough sun. Florence pumping heights higher. I clocked about 45 minutes of sun since Thursday 4PM. http://mp1.met.psu.edu/~fxg1/SAT_NE/anim8vis.html

Tending to agree overall but temps could approach 90 next week 9/18-19 again if we can ever clear up. Beyond there you never know if some late month heat to polish off the month.
