Here is my final call map for verification time. No way could i stick with 4-8 for most (8-12 east of the river). Going up to 6-12 most and 12-18 east, mostly in the hills. May end up being too low around the 91 area if that heavy banding materializes there, but this is where i feel confident for now. Near the NYC amounts drop to 6 or less.

Not sure why the NAM has over twice as much precip as the RGEM.  The track is not that different, it should be 30 miles east instead of 75.

I haven't seen a set up that looks this good in a while up here.  There's been this trend towards almost like an inverted trough that pivots across New England and is able to throw a lot of moisture deep into the interior.  

The upslope and orographic potential is high end on top of whatever the synoptic storm does.  

The 3km WRF is still crushing heavy upslope snow into Thursday morning.

 

The aerial coverage of significant snowfall is crazy.
