Overall the long wave trough axis is way too far to our east and the energy traversing the US is not picked up. Why it stays flat. The energy diving down from Hudson Bay is way too late. Our best chance is probably for something around the 15th. The energy diving down from Hudson Bay that misses the Monday system works to establish a new long wave trough over the Eastern US.
