The shorter term guidance has all trended colder. It's probably not fake. The concern if you are searching for totals over 5" will be getting that CCB to pop before it exits. That could go either way but it's looking better this evening.

Sure does.

I wonder if we're limiting our thundersnow potential some tomorrow morning because the saturation only extends up to about -15C.

Although I don’t post often, I always enjoy your posts. Especially since we share usually share climo. Congrats on the beginning of your new life. That’s terrific news.

Alao thanks for placing one of your jack zones over my head :)

I'm starting to get interested again.  I'm in Wilmington, Mass like Ray is. The models appear to be coming in colder and slightly further east.  With the dynamics and the 10:00PM Taunton weather updated report.  This could have some tricks up its sleeve.

You should be interested.

Are there places that still have a lot of ice on the trees? Our trees were encased until after midnight; but temps spiking briefly to around 34 knocked much of it off. More like a top layer of ice on many branches now. Driveway and the snow in the yard are a thick sheet of ice however.

My trees are definitely coated in about .25 inch of ice.

I'm in Andover, just off 133, near 28, and we are absolutely caked in ice from the ground to the tops of the trees.  Considering we lost power yesterday for a few hours, I have no doubt we'll be losing it again once the wind starts howling.

More importantly though, congrats Ray.  All the best to you and your wife to be for a long, healthy and happy life.  Happy Holidays to all of you.
