Have picked up 0.17" of rain so far today, not really expecting to much more since most of whatever heavier precipitation develops looks to fall to my east.

.04 at my station so far. Doesn't look like much else (if anything) for the rest of the night.

Around a quarter inch here. Meaningless precip.

If you're gonna bust, you might as well bust spectacularly.

No, it's not... but the majority are underperforming expectations.

This is different from a classic convective event.  The progs were for 1-3+ of rain over a widespread area for days.  In a repeat of the last several events, most west of the city won't break an inch.

HPN has .02 and it's mostly over was modeled for days and days of 1 to 2 with some models over 4 inches

Don't expect widespread storm coverage. Things look slightly better than your average hit or miss. The Southerly flow will increase the threat for training, so those areas that do experience the more organized activity could see quite the deluge.

Power line came down along Rt 17 in Mahwah (Near MacArthur Blvd)

I currently have no power at my house and most of that half of Mahwah is currently without power.

Lost power on this side from 12-2pm today.
