Hell, even if guidance showed a furnace through D15 (and it doesn't), you still couldn't rule it out. You can't rule out a big warning event. I haven't seen this behavior in over 3 years, not to mention this early. Who knows how long it lasts, but file that in something good to have on our side. I should note that this isn't the end all be all...but certainly can constructively or destructively interfere with the tropospheric polar vortex.
