This looked like the best rain we will see for a while as the models don't have much rain in the near future.

You can see the greatest deficit up the LHV to POU which missed out on the blizzard.

YTD precip deficits:

October monthly average temperature was much higher during the 1940's to 1960's...from the 1970's to 2000's it was a least a degree cooler on average...the 1940's and 50's Octobers averaged higher than the 2010's so far...
