Euro still with quite a winter storm for northern half of New England on Thursday/Friday. Keeps even the ORH hills and east slope of the Berkshires below freezing with IP/ZR.

Warning snows across the northern tier from BTV to Sunday River.

Bring on SWFEs over this coastal low stuff haha.

Good spot 4-5 days out for another BOS hit. Plenty of time to trend that SE.

Wow, fatherhood making Will merciless. Lol

Haha he's enjoying the 1980s run up in the Greens while BOS has its best run in history probably. Can't even let us enjoy the fantasy storms ;).

But we will go back to every passing cloud farting at least 3", scattered in with a weekly warning event at some point and all will be right with the world.

La Niña December to start off 2016-2017.

Over/under...you surpass this season's total by Christmas next season?

Ha hopefully.  December 2007 had 116" at the ski resort... this season we've had 125" all winter long on a 20-year average of 310".

I could definitely go for a Nina to try and get out of the funk that's been around the past several winters.

So funny how bi-polar it is across different areas of New England...the disparity in departure from normal over the past 5 years is amazing between like Mansfield or Pittsburgh, NH vs. Boston area.  Like if you asked people from different areas of New England about the last few years you could easily figure out where they live just based on the reaction haha.

Good call for those who predicted something wintry around the ewuinox. What guidance is suggesting a possibility of something interesting later this month?

All models show a potential pattern for something late season. There isn't anything verbatim, but with a trough setting up over the MIdwest and East..I would keep an eye out during early April.  Clearly it's difficult to get the ingredients to line up for snow...but that is some very cold air moving into the nrn tier of the US.

Early April definitely looks like well above average chance of winter wx....though everyone has to keep in mind that it is getting pretty late, so well above average chance is still probably like a coin flip.

Lot of cold is going to be available though.
