Quite the cold front ripped through Salt Lake City this afternoon/evening!

 

2:30PM: 76F SSW 31G55 Mph 3SM BLDU
2:45PM: 55F W 49G64 Mph 1/2SM BLDU
3:45PM: 51F NW 29G45 Mph 3/4SM BLDU
4:30PM: 46F NW 29G38 Mph 3SM -RA
5:30PM: 37F NW 25G32 Mph 2SM +RA
6:30PM: 35F N 18 Mph 1SM -SN

Most probably aren't paying attention, but the euro is back. GFS barely had any snow in the front range of the Rockies while the EC had a blizzard. Now the GFS has the storm..lol.

Has the Euro upgrade launched?  I thought I read one was happening in April.

The one thing that sucks about this time of year other than frequent crappy weather is how far and fast we fall in the excitement of tracking events. We go from tracking all these threats to talking about brush fires and people trying spin dewpoints over a lesco-infused lawn as more representative than ASOS.

Hopefully we get a few weeks of good BBQ weather and then winter can't return soon enough.

Truth. But, it's refreshing not to engage in faux severe and dewpoint discussions which I'll refrain from. The casual banter and perhaps any SOS threats as well as sports for the most part.
