PWC Split
Best rates of the night just now while I shoveled for the first time. 3.5-3.9 was range on multiple measurements. So I will call it 3.7 as of 9:45. 12F

dukeblue219
Ok so the walk definitely improved my mood, as did the increasingly large flakes that were falling towards the end. Still not big fat ones, but doable. At just about 10pm we have exactly 1.5" of powder near downtown Silver Spring. Roads are completely white, but traffic seems to be moving relatively well -- no ice at all that I could find. Just compacted snow and occasional puddles where the salt was heaviest. needbiggerboat
Not sure why I'm getting flack for my post--it is very unlikely we'll see 6-10" amounts if the ratios don't change. No models are spitting out 0.6" - 1.0" liquid around here (50 mile radius of DC). because you do this song and dance every storm. rest your sleepy eyes, and wake up tomorrow to a winter wonderland.
