Pretty incredible stretch we have had. it has been awesome also I have not seen .1 since 10 am. I think I may be at .08 or so , relative screwgie hole here. I think I have .7 or .8 inches of snow since I stopped this am.
Clinch Leatherwood
is that qpf, snow? source link?does it have a legend? Like Larry Bird legend or blue is 3" legend? GFS is about 4-5" over the next 18 hours in the max zones. Gone is the epic blast out in the berks.

Clinch Leatherwood
The 0z GFS shows 0.89" for BOS through 2/9 18z. Was speaking mainly with the spikes well to the west. There's no question school should have been called Monday, Tuesday could have waited. Nice band forming on the radar right along Rte 24.
CT Rain
GFS 21 hr precip, I'd hit that Has the GFS cut that precip forecast in a 1/3 or something from the craziness it was putting out before?

SR Airglow
Yeah I don't agree with closing school for Tuesday now, especially with how many days they've lost already it's probably best to wait and see. Tomorrow absolutely the right decision and in the end it's probably not a bad idea to be closed Tuesday also but that decision could have waited until later tomorrow I think so that if by some chance they were able to have school, they could and not force another day onto the end of the calendar for no reason. Looks almost mist like outside with the tiny snow grains getting whipped around in the wind. SN continues at a balmy 14f.

Clinch Leatherwood
RGEM ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423453794.741148.jpg 0z hi res GFS strokes you. Pulls the heaviest right down and just east of 24, up through Jerry etc, scott. Tucks a decent 3-6" amount down this way while leaving places like Marshvegas with nothing. In short the high res GFS from 18z and 0z has nailed this cold tuck pretty well. Temp dropping here still, still dropping on the vineyard too. Warmer to my north.
