No more model watching on this one for me, I can't deal with it. I saw snow and sleet, the rest is gravy. Cutting back on the ZR is fine with me.

I'm weird in that I like freezing rain, not as much as snow, but better than sleet.  I've gotta feeling we are going to pick up our .12 of ice accretion in the next hour or 2 just looking at the radar.  30.4° right now.

Edit: 29.8° now.  It's been dropping .5° every 15 minutes.

The radar is filling in nicely towards North GA, don't think there's any cause for concern.

He acting completely ridiculous. I understand he's a weenie like the rest of us but Honestly it was embarrassing.

It really seems all planned and fake now. The first time he saw it way back in the day, I believe he was genuinely surprised and excited. Now, every reaction is more dramatic and exaggerated. It feels like they discuss it beforehand and try to make it a purposeful reaction so they can use it for promos and such.

I still haven't gotten around to watching his latest thundersnow reactions but I still assumed just as much. It's all about the ratings, after all.

Just back in.  While I was driving we were getting moderate fzrn and sleet.  IP were so big it sounded like hail hitting the car.  Ice all over the car.  29.3°/27°

As I side note, I think I've already come close to reaching my forecast ice accretion of .12".  Ice on the side view mirrors of my car already look like they have at least .1" on them.

I guess the good thing about changing over to sleet is that we rock at it.  We always overperform when it comes to sleet.  Pingermageddon incoming.

I don't really have a good explanation for why we went over to sleet so soon except that it always sleets here so why not.

I'd chip in some money for a balloon right now to see what's going on. Someone make it happen!
