I am going to let everyone else dream about what might be whilst I look forward to this afternoon's actual coating (though right now it looks pretty crappy).

Radar returns still well west in the mountains, but the Wisp cams show that it is snowing there.

nice cloud cover and I am 34/25....This may be better than expected

IAD and Wallop's soundings at 7AM were pretty cold

Wallop's had a warm layer at 799mb, but the wet bulb temp was well below 0C and winds were from the NW at that level

33.0.  Can confirm the thick cloud cover, I've seen my solar sensor read higher while it was actually snowing than it is now.

low was 28, high 34...no reason -SN cant coat cartops and maybe even a snowboard...(IF we get more than stray flurries)

RAP seems to want to delay and give us a couple hours of snow late afternoon, early evening

Been smoking a pork shoulder all morning on the charcoal grill. Just some occasional tiny flakes most of the day so far. Radar getting better though. At the high so far of 30 degrees.

I am 200 pounds and I can stand on the snow without breaking through. Pretty cool after 19 days in a row of snow cover.
