Below freezing already

Maybe another sub 20 night

Dews are up a couple degrees from last night and we'll have increasing clouds. May be one of those nights where the low is reached early in the evening then starts ticking up after midnight as the clouds increase and a light breeze begins to stir.

Enjoy the snow everyone...it will be around month or a little less until we get another widespread threat again.

great call on this snow event well WELL in advance, but what else is new!..

And much of the same can be said for several of the mets on here who sniffed this storm out with great lead time. Well done.

Well, time to refresh the banter thread as we are officially not in October nor early November.

The true torch is short-lived and then just mild. But, it looks like the gfs is cooking something for around Thanksgiving. Nothing like a stormy turkey day.

Well, two major East Coast storms in a little over a week and both have been almost complete non-events in this part of the state. Hopefully not a harbinger of the winter to come. lol

Long range looks like we may have a snowless November in these parts.

From the new November thread......much time for things to evolve.

Thanks! How did you make out with the snowfall? I can't believe the numbers near Freehold!

In the medium range, we knew the compromise was the way to go since models were struggling with the second s/w and wind maximum coming around the ridge (Phil did a good job explaining this in the main forum). As this feature slowed and trended stronger, the idea of a well wrapped up / phased solution was done with and we knew the nor'easter would trend east.
