Incredible....as of now my low temp for the day (32 on the nose) was at 2:26 pm. The difference in elevation was huge here, and only minor elevation changes (125-500 feet) went from 4 or so inches up to atleast 8 or 9, though compaction and melting made it impossible to measure. It looks like an ice storm hit here....trees and wires are everywhere.

Great start to the storm with an early changeover, it got very heavy around noon, that's when I picked up most of my accumulation, then it generally died down after 3 with on and off light snow to more moderate snows with a little bit more accumulation. If this was your average winter snowstorm, I would give it a C- for rather low accumulations, marginal temperatures, and a disappointing CCB. However, for an Oct/Nov snowstorm, it gets an A- because who in their right mind would think we would ever get accumulating snows in the NYC metro/central NJ area on October 29.

I'm still waiting for that magical 32 mark though, haven't hit it yet this autumn, great chance of going below it tomorrow night.
