  1. Past hour
  2. It’s obscenely early and Climo should prevail but I have to say these early waves have been robust to say the least. No stability issues in the MDR thus far…
  3. Apparently it’s plenty to attract the males. We’re such suckers.
  4. This would likely be where a low-end tornado gets confirmed (if one's confirmed), a neighborhood in Garland... https://x.com/wfaa/status/1795495628090261770?t=Vm3mqeHY6Y9e4KWTU589lA&s=19
  5. Yeah a few showers/storms tomorrow afternoon into early Thursday, but one of the nicest stretches of the year coming up after that. Extremely dry air (dewpoints might fall to high 30s Friday) but nice warm temps. Friday and Saturday look like top 10 days of the year.
  6. It hit Abeline before I left there this morning. Guessing we had gusts up around 40-50 mph
  7. GRR mentioned the possibility of frost in the norther sections of the forecast area. I have to think Gaylord and some of the surrounding areas are in line for a frost or two this week.
  8. Today is perfect Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

  12. Getting widespread post-storm gusts of 40-50 MPH (wind advisory criteria).
  13. .64 yesterday, 4.22 for the month. Another dusting of caterpillar poop as well this morning.
  14. Also starting to see some reintensification / redevelopment of storms down around Austin / College Station as the enhanced low level convergence erodes what little capping was in place. Will have to watch and see if it intensifies into a severe QLCS for Houston.
  15. Today
  16. for the first time since last summer i had to go out just wearing a shirt no jacket i did wear a backpack to cover me up.. but still...
  17. Outflow boundary's made it all the way down to Austin and will be pushing westward through San Angelo shortly. In fact, it has prompted a Hgh Wind Warning for the San Angelo area.
  18. I had never heard of them. Seems like they're not a big problem although if you wanted to get rid of them you'd have to have the tree sprayed. https://www.wamc.org/news/2023-07-06/dazzling-cryptic-and-vital-national-moth-week-marked-with-events-in-pittsfield-west-stockbridge
  19. 77 / 57 sunny. Partly cloudy (clouds moving se) and near / low 80s for some the 8th straight 80 degree day. NOverall great stretch of weather near normal with a day or two below Thu (5/30) and Fri (5/31) and while no sustained heat is in sight, the period 6/2 - 6/6 looks warmer on recent guidance. Outside of Memorial Day itself, the extended Fri - Sun was one of the nicer ones in a while.
  20. todays sw is better than a realized and well timed, my some lapse rate pingers?
  21. Just emptied my rain gage from the weekend storms. Surprisingly I got 4.38 inches. I figured it would be over 2 inches, but didn't expect that much.
  22. Sad part of that story, when I was a kid his old man was one of the best.
  23. I mean it looks like for example that it’s moving west to east and somehow you got on the north end of it and took the shot facing south I think that quite a Wow!!
  24. maybe the tree will get hit by lightning tomorrow
