Interesting to adjust. But that matches what I received. -
Yeah, the CCB would be where higher ratios would come into play.

Run to run variability seems to have calmed down somewhat. A hold through tomorrow gets me bullish. -

It does look a little like January 2000. That storm gave Raleigh 22 inches. -
Made this gif of the EPS mslp 06, 12, 18z. valid sunday 06z. good bounce back at 18z today. you can see the spread was a bit greater at 06z with some way inland outliers that have been cleaned up.

18.5 still snowing

I would rather have the Euro/AI/EPS on our side first but it would be nice to see the GFS throw a nice bone for us to chew on. Lol -

Everyone is obviously focused on the recent ECMWF 18z runs, but I'm going to throw in the 19Z NBM output anyway -
Awesome Was moderately dense and a little bit surfy today down here, even some -zl at times. But really just what the doctor ordered. Skied well and more importantly skied in well. By the end of the day the natural had a nice packed down base that sets up great for whatever should follow. Rocks, stumps mostly buried hopefully for the winter.

Any updates on the Euro??

I drove up to Dover this afternoon to dig my parents' cars out and was surprised I didn't see more trees down. I'll take 18" of powder snow any day of the week over this 4" frozen concrete w/ 2" ice topping. Its torn up more stuff than any other storm I can remember going back to the '93 ice storm. Felton, DE

Still 19° and not seeing a very rapid drop. Forecast low is 1°. Wind is still up though, so maybe after midnight if it dies off, the temperatures will rapidly fall.
-
So the bottom panel snow only? Nothing additional including sleet? some stations have two different colored values, is that snow first and sleet and snow second
