  1. Past hour
  2. If this had been snow you might have killed me in my sleep.
  3. @GaWx Crude Oil went up +9.2% today, making the trade 3-0, +13.2% Total. I still have a Weak Up signal (4/10) tomorrow and Monday, then it looks like my technical indictor doesn't have an up signal on it anymore.
  4. Frozen precipitation in the form of sleet made it all the way to my house. Crazy 24 hour turn of events. A few mangled flakes in there as well as we speak.
  5. I spent the day in Tyson’s and it was wild. Really intense rates. It’s almost all gone now! A+ day.
  6. .51" High of 76 at midnight.
  7. We are down 39 degrees from this time yesterday. 42 now at 5:30 pm. Ended up with .45" of wind blown rain.
  8. I still have a stripe of snow in my yard next to a fence and some bushes, the most in my neighborhood. The roadside snowpiles are melted. My pond is frozen but I think the rains probably cut into the ice depth to probably 3 inches. I could make out a fish through it. I don’t want to walk on it but probably would be alright. the winter is ending here on my polar preserve.
  9. Solid coating on grass in Wading River. Just missed snow on snow - last of the backyard snow disappeared yesterday.
  10. I’ll pass on this ice storm bullshit.
  11. I've never seen a 56 degree drop east of the Appalachians
  12. My gut was right... 1 to 3 flakes here earlier. Nothing for the last couple hours
  13. https://x.com/i/status/2032158839710117932 To our south where it was in the m/u 80's in spots.
  14. snow sticking to grass and cars now in melville, 33.5
  15. about 50 degrees cooler than 24 hours ago with snow falling wow "what a difference a day makes, 24 little hours" 34 / 33 Should be shutting down shortly
  16. It was 88 this time yesterday and 33 degrees now.
  17. 12.3 NW of Winchester. The fact EVERYONE on this board got more tells you what this winter ranks out here. Another pathetic winter. After basically 7 other pathetic winters. It's really starting to take the fun out of the hobby for me. Love all guys here too much to leave though.
  18. I find the biggest problem with chasing is not having a partner. To be successful you really need two people. You need one person fully dedicated to driving and another person fully dedicated to radar and navigation. My problem is I don’t know anyone else willing to drop whatever they’re doing on a dime to come with me. Then, even if I find someone, most people I know are clueless about meteorology and reading radar. I’ve tried having my wife be the driver but she gets anxious and can’t stand being yelled at. Telling someone else who isn’t a chaser how and where to drive just leads to fights. So I’ve kind of given up. I’m too old to do it alone. It’s too much stress.
  19. some light snow here...basically white rain. 35 degrees
  20. More rare than the oft referenced biblical snow.
  21. He’s a lock for a great spring day on Monday.
  22. Even though the event itself was minor, the insanity of it definitely upgraded this winter in my books to an A- for the Northern Neck
  23. About a solid inch of paste with this system after a record high print yesterday (84 vs. 80 old record). Nice little last hurrah. Probably had the best rates of the winter for about an hour there.
